BIM Modeller (Based at Tuas, ACMV/ HVAC)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, create, and modify 3D BIM models for ACMV / HVAC ducting systems using BIM software (e.g., Revit).

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for ducting works.

• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and other trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, structural) to resolve design clashes using coordination tools such as Navisworks.

• Ensure BIM models comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and company standards.

• Extract quantities and generate material take-offs from BIM models.

• Support project teams with drawing submissions, revisions, and documentation.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical input when required.

• Maintain proper documentation and version control of BIM models and drawings.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling for ACMV / HVAC systems, preferably in ducting works.

• Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

• Strong understanding of HVAC / ducting systems, shop drawings, and construction processes.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Familiar with local codes, standards, and BIM submission requirements.

• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.
