1. BIM Strategy and Implementation
- Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for projects
- Establish BIM standards, workflows, and protocols for the project
- Ensure BIM processes comply with project and client requirements
- Implement BIM technologies across project teams
2. BIM Model Management
- Oversee creation and maintenance of 3D BIM models
- Ensure models from different disciplines (architectural, structural, M&E) are properly integrated
- Monitor model quality, accuracy and data integrity
- Manage model updates throughout project lifecycle
3. Coordination and Clash Detection
- Conduct BIM coordination meetings with consultants and contractors
- Perform clash detection using BIM software to identify design conflicts
- Work with project teams to resolve clashes before construction
4. Team Leadership and Support
- Lead BIM coordinators, BIM modellers and digital engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance to project teams on BIM processes
- Train staff on BIM tools and standards when required
5. Software and Technology Management
- Manage BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 etc
- Ensure proper use of BIM collaboration platforms
6. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare BIM reports for project management and clients
- Maintain model version control and documentation
- Ensure models comply with submission requirements
7. Compliance and Standards
- Monitor adherence to ISO BIM standards and client BIM guidelines
Requirements
- Degree / diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of working experience in BIM-related roles - Construction Industry
- Strong knowledge of BIM software in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 etc
- Experience in clash detection and model coordination
- Knowledge and understanding of Architectural, structural, M&E drawings, BIM standards and workflow
