Key Responsibilities
1. BIM Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Lead the overall BIM implementation strategy for the project from pre-construction to handover.
- Develop BIM execution plans (BEP), workflows, and model development schedules.
- Coordinate BIM deliverables, milestones, and digital production timelines with internal and external stakeholders.
2. BIM Standards, Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Develop, implement, and enforce company and project-specific BIM standards, templates, and protocols.
- Ensure all BIM models comply with Singapore BIM e-submission requirements and relevant local authorities guidelines (BCA, SCDF, PUB, etc.).
- Conduct model audits, clash detection reviews, and quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
3. Model Management & Coordination
- Manage the creation, integration, and maintenance of BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Lead coordination meetings to resolve design clashes, discrepancies, and technical issues.
- Oversee federated model management and ensure version control and model integrity.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to align BIM workflows and ensure smooth information exchange.
- Provide strategic BIM guidance to project managers, site teams, and design partners.
- Facilitate digital collaboration platforms (e.g., CDE environments such as ACC, BIM360, Dalux, etc.).
5. Training, Support & Continuous Improvement
- Train project team members on BIM standards, software tools, and digital processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency through automation, scripting, and digital tools.
- Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies and recommend system improvements.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- At least 610 years of experience in BIM coordination or management in the construction industry.
- Strong expertise in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM360, Solibri, etc.).
- Good understanding of Singapore authorities BIM submission requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced project environment.
