Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with BIM standards and project specifications.
• Manage BIM software to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure model integrity.
• Lead the coordination and review process for shop drawings and as-built drawings with various trades, including Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Specialist Subcontractors.
• Prepare and monitor the progress of shop drawings and sample schedules alongside procurement schedules.
• Oversee submission and approval processes for drawings and samples from consultants.
• Liaise with consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to resolve design-related issues.
• Support the project team with technical coordination matters involving subcontractors.
• Lead design technical meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
• Assist the contracts department with variation order claims related to design changes.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in drawing coordination and management within the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software related to Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with BIM projects is advantageous.
• Well-versed in Singapore construction regulations (e.g., Building Code, BCA, URA, LTA).
• Proven track record in leading teams of coordinators and drafters in shop drawing production and document control.
• Strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of specialist trade works, such as curtain walls, stone, and interior design, is a plus.
