We are seeking a BIM Manager specializing in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems to join our team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will lead our BIM implementation efforts for M&E projects, ensuring seamless integration of building systems and optimizing our design and construction processes.
- Develop and implement BIM strategies for M&E projects, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Coordinate with various disciplines (architecture, structural, and M&E) to ensure proper integration of building systems in BIM models
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for M&E projects
- Conduct quality assurance checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define BIM deliverables and ensure timely completion
- Troubleshoot complex modeling issues and provide innovative solutions
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and M&E systems advancements, implementing improvements as necessary
- Preparation of BEP
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors, to ensure smooth BIM execution throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM implementation for M&E projects
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems and design principles
- Demonstrated experience in managing BIM teams and coordinating with multiple disciplines
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- In-depth understanding of M&E systems in building construction
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards in Singapore
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends
