Job Description
- Lead and manage the BIM team, including BIM Coordinators and BIM Modellers, and provide technical guidance.
- Develop, implement and maintain BIM strategies, execution plans, standards and modelling workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants, contractors and clients to establish BIM requirements, coordinate model information and deliver project outputs.
- Oversee the preparation and updating of BIM models, shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built documentation.
- Lead clash detection and coordination meetings, and ensure identified issues are tracked through to resolution.
- Establish BIM quality control procedures and review models and deliverables for accuracy, consistency and timely completion.
- Manage the effective use of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and other relevant BIM platforms.
- Provide BIM support during design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Support tender and bid preparation with BIM deliverables, model-based visualisations, quantities and coordination input when required.
- Promote BIM practices that improve collaboration and project delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural, Architecture, M&E Engineering, or Building/Construction-related discipline.
- With at least 8 years of BIM coordination/management experience in the relevant industry for large scale projects
- Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and ability to handle pressure.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
