BIM Intern (MEP)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated BIM Intern specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to support our project team. This internship provides hands-on experience in BIM modeling using Revit, exposure to real-world projects, and the opportunity to learn industry standards and coordination processes.

Key Responsibilities

. Assist in developing 3D BIM models for MEP systems using Revit.

. Support the preparation of drawings, layouts, and schedules from BIM models.

. Help update models based on design revisions and coordination feedback.

. Participate in model coordination and clash detection processes under supervision.

. Assist in maintaining organized BIM files, documentation, and version control.

. Support the team in preparing shop drawings and basic quantity take-offs.

. Attend coordination meetings and take notes when required.

. Follow company BIM standards and project guidelines.

Requirements

. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.

. Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit is preferred.

. Understanding of MEP systems is an advantage.

. Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus.

. Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
