BIM Coordinator (MEP)

Job Description:

• Act as a BIM Coordinator/Standardisation team in projects
• Assist the BIM Manager in model management
• Coordinate all design matters between the key project stakeholders
• Review of key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to quality of design, implementation and coordination of design changes
• Provide and analyze 3D models during design coordination to support pre-construction
• Propose alternative BIM solutions to improve collaboration and
• productivity across projects
• Perform clash detection in a proactive manner to ensure BIM Models are well coordinated
• Perform, manage and track design change and manage BIM revision log
• Review Navisworks coordination models
• Attends clash detection meetings and other project meetings as required.
• Assist project management in the RFI, Submittal, and Procurement
• processes
• Work under direction of Project Manager/BIM Manager
• Design, develop and enforce modelling protocol and standards with BIM Manager
• Discuss improvement on design standards and quality with BIM leaders
• Ensure to perform quality assurance/quality control checks on BIM models
• Able to communicate well with others
• Responsible to participate and support the Company's SHEQ within their scope of duties

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Experience in Revit and Navisworks, experience in OpenBuildings, and/or OpenRoads, and/or OpenRail, and/or OpenBridges is of an advantage
• Experience in BIM 360 and/or ProjectWise is of an advantage
• Experience and knowledge in relevant system design
• Basic knowledge on reading and interpretation of engineering drawings
