Job Responsibilities:
- Design and coordinate Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems in compliance with project requirements and local standards.
- Prepare detailed as-built and shop drawings using 3D BIM models for ACMV systems, including submissions to relevant authorities.
- Manage submission of all necessary technical data, shop drawings, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all BIM models adhere to local regulatory standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and project-specific workflow criteria.
- Generate accurate construction drawings and extract relevant data from BIM platforms based on the mechanical discipline.
- Collaborate with the design and project teams on key design aspects such as ventilation rates, duct and pipe sizing, and mechanical equipment selection.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate closely with other MEP services to resolve conflicts before construction.
- Maintain proper documentation of all revisions and updates to design and construction drawings.
- Assist the Project-in-Charge in project scheduling and tracking milestones related to ACMV and BIM deliverables.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of relevant working experience using BIM software for Buildings project in Mechanical field.
- At least 1 year of experience working as a BIM Coordinator.
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM software
- Familiar with Navisworks is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues
