Billing Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate and efficient billing operations
- Oversee billing processes by reviewing and approving billing reports and invoices before client delivery
- Develop and implement billing procedures to enhance process efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
- Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational continuity
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment
- Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or related functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities demonstrated through team management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
- Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
