Job Summary
Lead and manage billing operations by overseeing a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate invoicing, efficient processes, and prompt resolution of billing issues, maintaining client satisfaction and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to deliver accurate and efficient billing operations
- Review and approve billing reports and invoices to ensure accuracy before client delivery
- Develop and implement billing procedures to improve process efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
- Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational continuity
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in daily operations
- Take reservations and inquire about the purpose of visits to enhance customer service
- Present menus and share promotions, specials, and items clearly to customers
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and inform guests of estimated serving times
- Oversee a team of servers during assigned shifts to ensure smooth service delivery
- Efficiently key orders into the Point-of-Sale system to maintain order accuracy
- Process payments and check bills promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist the restaurant manager in planning and organizing special events to support business goals
- Check food and beverage inventories and stocks consistently and accurately
- Complete opening, operating, and closing procedures to maintain operational standards
- Handle cashier payment issues effectively to minimize disruptions
- Escalate guest complaints to the duty manager when service recovery is not possible
- Adhere to the company's standard operating procedures
- Perform any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment
- Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or related functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities demonstrated through team management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
- Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
