Job Summary

Lead and manage billing operations by overseeing a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate invoicing, efficient processes, and prompt resolution of billing issues, maintaining client satisfaction and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to deliver accurate and efficient billing operations
  • Review and approve billing reports and invoices to ensure accuracy before client delivery
  • Develop and implement billing procedures to improve process efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational continuity
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns
  • Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in daily operations
  • Take reservations and inquire about the purpose of visits to enhance customer service
  • Present menus and share promotions, specials, and items clearly to customers
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and inform guests of estimated serving times
  • Oversee a team of servers during assigned shifts to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Efficiently key orders into the Point-of-Sale system to maintain order accuracy
  • Process payments and check bills promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist the restaurant manager in planning and organizing special events to support business goals
  • Check food and beverage inventories and stocks consistently and accurately
  • Complete opening, operating, and closing procedures to maintain operational standards
  • Handle cashier payment issues effectively to minimize disruptions
  • Escalate guest complaints to the duty manager when service recovery is not possible
  • Adhere to the company's standard operating procedures
  • Perform any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment
  • Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or related functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities demonstrated through team management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
  • Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
