Bicycle Mechanic

What you'll be doing

1. Perform bicycle servicing, maintenance, and repairs (basic to full servicing)

2. Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend suitable solutions

3. Install and upgrade bike components (e.g. hydraulic brakes, drivetrain, suspension, wheelsets)

4. Build, true, and repair bicycle wheels (wheel building), including spoke tensioning and alignment

5. Conduct safety checks and ensure bikes are in optimal condition

6. Assemble new bicycles and perform quality checks before delivery

7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop

8. Assist customers with basic technical advice when needed

What we're looking for

1. 3+ years experience as a Bike Mechanic or in a similar technical role within the cycling industry

2. Strong knowledge of bicycle components, maintenance, repair procedures, and wheel building techniques

3. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

4. Customer-focused approach with the ability to provide exceptional service

5. Passion for cycling and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

6. Good communication and teamwork skills

7. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
