An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BI & Data Lead to join a global manufacturing leader undergoing a large-scale SAP implementation. This is a contract role based in Singapore and open to all candidates with proven experience in enterprise data architecture, business intelligence, and ERP transformation.
Responsibilities
- Lead global data design and modelling activities across ERP, BI, and analytics landscapes
- Own and govern data flows, master/reference data, and data dictionaries
- Plan and oversee data migration mapping and cutover processes
- Design scalable, cloud-based BI and data warehousing solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable data models
- Ensure governance and integrity of data through comprehensive documentation and standards
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, BI, or data engineering
- Strong technical experience with BI stacks, ETL tools, and data visualisation platforms (e.g. SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI)
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake, etc.)
- Background in SAP implementations and familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain data
- Excellent understanding of OLTP & OLAP data modelling
- Experience managing 3rd party vendors and engaging senior business stakeholders
- Strong documentation, data governance, and communication skills
- Experience in major transformation programmes and agile/DevOps environments
Good to have:
- Certifications in Azure Architecture / Data Engineering
- Familiarity with ERP data migration planning and cutover
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and regulatory compliance
