Job Description

The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Benefits Consultant to join Tesla's Regional Compensation and Benefits team. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving positive change across the company and must be both analytical and strategic in identifying efficiencies to deliver exceptional results. You must possess the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple task deliverables simultaneously, handle sensitive information with discretion, and partner effectively with HRBPs, Leaders, and employees to achieve company-wide success. This role is based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Regional Benefits Leader in designing, reviewing, and implementing regional benefits policies and plans, including insurance, leave, recognition, and wellbeing programs.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills to ensure a robust understanding of benefits policies among HRBPs, Leaders, and employees.
  • Proactively support the review of existing benefits processes and the development of new compensation policies for the region, as well as the implementation of internal benefits tools and systems.
  • Leverage external best practices to plan and administer employee Benefits and Wellbeing programs, delivering an exceptional and consistent employee experience even amidst rapid organizational changes.
  • Manage external relationships with key vendors to ensure visibility, effective administration, and timely delivery of Benefits programs.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business teams to align Benefits programs with Tesla's evolving benefits strategy.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis to interpret market trends and survey benchmarking data, developing effective strategies that adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Stay current on emerging benefits regulations and ensure strict compliance with statutory requirements in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and a high-velocity work environment, maintaining high-quality output under tight deadlines.

  • Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, or a related field, or demonstrated experience as a Benefits Broker.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Reward Specialist or Benefits Consultant; prior experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of broad-based regional benefits programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of benefits with a deep interest in leveraging data to drive sound decision-making.
  • Advanced experience in internal communication within a diverse and rapidly changing cultural context.
  • Possess a high level of integrity; be widely trusted, direct, and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence quickly.
  • Solution and client service-oriented, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and delivery quality in fast-paced scenarios.
  • Proven organizational and stakeholder management abilities, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in an environment with competing demands and rapid shifts in focus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and flexibility to adapt to Tesla's fast-paced culture and evolving business needs.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is required to interact effectively with regional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Korean is a plus.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Video Shooting, or Tableau is also a plus.
