The Beauty Salon Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon to ensure smooth workflow, high service standards, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing staff, driving revenue, maintaining compliance with regulations, and delivering an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
1) Operations Management
. Oversee daily salon operations, including appointment scheduling, staff deployment, and outlet readiness
. Ensure all treatments and services are delivered according to company standards and SOPs
. Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
. Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering of products and supplies
2) Sales & Business Performance
. Drive sales targets through treatment packages, retail products, and promotions
. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and KPIs
. Handle pricing, promotions, and upselling strategies
. Prepare sales reports and operational updates for management
3) Staff Management & Training
. Train, supervise, and motivate therapists, consultants, and reception staff
. Conduct staff briefings, performance reviews, and coaching
. Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and ensure adequate manpower coverage
. Enforce discipline and uphold company policies
4) Customer Service & Relationship Management
. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
. Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
. Build and maintain long-term client relationships
. Ensure accurate customer records and treatment documentation
5) Compliance & Administration
. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements
. Manage cash handling, POS systems, and daily reconciliation
. Liaise with landlords, suppliers, and service vendors when required
. Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record keeping
Requirements & Qualifications
. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in beauty, wellness, or spa operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
. Proven ability to drive sales and manage targets
. Knowledge of beauty treatments, products, and salon operations
. Ability to manage staff, resolve issues, and multitask effectively
. Customer-focused with a professional and positive attitude
. Proficient in basic computer skills (POS, Microsoft Office, scheduling systems)
