Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Senior Data Analyst to drive learner success through data-driven insights. In this role, you will lead the data strategy for the Career Services team, ensuring we accurately measure, track, and improve learner career readiness and employment outcomes.
This role will also move beyond retrospective reporting to predictive insights, data-driven learner interventions, and AI-enabled workflow optimization as we scale RISE operations.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of data, AI, and education. You may also have the opportunity to work with other teams on other data projects as we look to grow and scale our operations across RISE.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics
- Lead the collection, maintenance, and management of learner and placement datasets, including data definitions, schema governance, and PDPA compliance.
- Define and track key metrics and performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure career readiness and placement rate.
- Analyze learner data to identify trends, patterns, and early indicators of learners who may be at risk of lagging behind.
- Build predictive models to proactively identify at-risk learners by setting up real-time risk scoring and early signal detection.
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to programme track leads and leadership.
Intervention & Program Management
- Design and implement targeted, data-driven intervention plans for at-risk learners.
- Engage with learners using data-driven insights to guide them towards successful career outcomes.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives that inform strategic decisions across the Career Services team.
- Design and run structured experiments on intervention strategies to measure effectiveness and continuously improve programme outcomes.
AI & Workflow Automation
- Leverage AI tools to streamline and enhance data collection processes, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting workflows to improve team efficiency.
- Design AI-assisted workflows such as automated learner outreach triggered by data signals and AI-assisted reporting.
- Monitor AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, and alignment with programme goals using responsible AI practices.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or demonstrated equivalent analytical capability.
- More than 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (or R), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Expert-level Excel skills, including complex data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make) to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Prior experience in education, edtech, or workforce development analytics is a strong plus.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or people-facing advisory roles is an advantage.
