Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to craft and serve beverages with precision and flair. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils and equipment.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed and minimize waste.
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
- Handle cash, credit, and bar tabs accurately.
- Assist in creating new cocktails and seasonal drink menus.
- Train and mentor junior bar staff as required.
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, beverage preparation, and bar equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Food safety or alcohol service certification preferred.
