Job Summary

You will prepare and serve drinks, engage with customers, and maintain a clean, safe bar environment while ensuring compliance with legal and health standards.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and provide drink recommendations to enhance their experience
Verify customer identification to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase
Take drink orders accurately from serving staff or customers directly
Inform customers about new beverages and current specials to promote sales
Select and mix drink ingredients, including peeling, slicing, and pitting fruit for garnishes
Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain stock availability
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene policies to ensure a safe environment
Maintain cleanliness of the work and dining areas by removing trash, cleaning counters, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment
Resolve minor customer complaints independently to maintain service quality

Required competencies and certifications

Past bartending experience to perform core drink preparation and customer service tasks
Ability to work on a shift basis, 5 days per week, to meet operational needs
Foods Safety & Hygiene certificate (if applicable)
