Job Description

Monthly Salary: UP to $3300 (Negotiable)
Working Address: Kim Yam Road
Working Hours: 5 day work week | 10am - 10.30pm with 1 hour lunch break.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide makkoli recommendations and guidance to guests, considering their preferences and menu selections.

  • Present and describe makkoli in a knowledgeable and engaging manner, highlighting key attributes and flavor profiles.

  • Ensure proper makkoli storage, handling, and serving techniques are adhered to at all times.

  • Offer expert advice on makkoli and food pairings, taking into account the nuances of both the cuisine and the makkoli selection.

  • Interact with guests to understand their preferences and guide them in selecting makkoli that suit their tastes.

  • Liaise with breweries and suppliers for new products, brewing education and techniques, and occasional site visits.

  • Conduct training sessions for restaurant staff on makkoli knowledge, service etiquette, and proper makkoli presentation.

  • Curate, manage and coordinate the beverage programme at our sister company, Ajumma's.

  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Qualification and Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food & beverage (F&B), hospitality, or beverage service.

  • Strong knowledge of makkoli, including its production, flavour profiles, serving methods, and food pairings.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests confidently and provide personalised beverage recommendations.
