About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Entry-Level Bartender / Barback to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who is interested in building a career in the F&B and beverage industry.

You will support the bar team with daily operations, preparation, service, cleaning and stock management. Training will be provided for candidates with little or no previous bartending experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with daily bar operations and service.

• Prepare and replenish garnishes, mixers, ice, glassware and other bar supplies.

• Assist with basic beverage preparation and learn cocktail, beer, wine and beverage service.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.

• Wash and polish glassware and bar equipment.

• Restock beverages, bottles, cans and other supplies.

• Assist with receiving and storing beverage deliveries.

• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when items are running low.

• Support bartenders during busy periods and events.

• Follow proper hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards.

• Assist with closing duties, cleaning and bar preparation for the next service.

• Provide friendly and professional service to guests when required.

• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Bar Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• No prior experience required training will be provided.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Responsible, punctual and reliable.

• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

• Basic knowledge of beverages or bartending is an advantage but not essential.
