Job Summary
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages while maintaining quality and hygiene standards, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting smooth daily caf operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks following company standards to ensure consistent quality for guests
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to provide excellent customer service and enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar, equipment, and work area throughout the shift to meet food safety regulations
- Perform daily opening and closing duties including equipment setup and cleaning to ensure readiness and hygiene
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies, and communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor promptly
- Assist in proper storage of coffee beans and ingredients to preserve freshness and quality
- Collaborate with the service team to support smooth daily caf operations and timely service delivery
- Handle basic cashiering and order taking when required to facilitate efficient customer transactions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a caf/restaurant environment
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and operation of espresso machines
- Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn new brewing techniques
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed
- Responsible, punctual, and well-groomed appearance
