Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista Trainer & Quality Control Lead (Brew Master) to support our coffee operations across internal outlets and wholesale clients. This role focuses on maintaining high coffee quality standards, conducting training for baristas and clients, and supporting technical operations such as machine installation and troubleshooting. The role will also contribute to product development and support the roastery team when required.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Ensure consistent coffee quality and calibration standards across all internal outlets.
- Conduct quality checks on coffee preparation and draft coffee systems.
- Perform QC checks for wholesale clients including offices and hotel partners.
- Monitor beverage consistency, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
Training
- Conduct barista training for new staff across internal outlets.
- Provide coffee training and product knowledge sessions for wholesale clients.
- Support continuous development of barista skills and service standards.
Product Development
- Support research and development for seasonal beverages.
- Assist with nutrigrade calculations and beverage compliance requirements.
Technical & Operations Support
- Assist with installation and commissioning of coffee machines for internal outlets and wholesale clients.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance support when required.
Additional Support
- Assist with roasting duties and support logistics or deliveries when operationally required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a senior barista, trainer, or coffee specialist.
- Strong knowledge of espresso calibration, coffee extraction, and quality control.
- Experience in barista training and coffee education.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with both internal teams and external clients.
- Passion for coffee and maintaining high quality standards.
