Job Summary
You will prepare and serve coffee and beverages efficiently and cleanly while maintaining high customer service standards in a busy caf environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee and beverages quickly and cleanly to meet caf quality standards
- Create latte art, including simple Rosetta designs, to enhance customer experience
- Manage weekly ordering of beverages and coffee beans to ensure stock availability
- Serve multiple orders simultaneously, demonstrating skill in handling plates and drinks
- Engage with regular customers through friendly and professional interactions to build rapport
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient caf operations
- Collaborate positively with team members to support a welcoming caf atmosphere
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous experience as a barista
- Experience as wait staff, demonstrating multitasking and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Genuine passion for coffee and enthusiasm for the barista role
