Barista / Coffee Shop Assistant (Experienced)

We are looking for experienced coffee shop staff to prepare coffee, tea and toast, serve customers, and support daily coffeeshop operations. Candidates must be familiar with a fast-paced coffeeshop or caf environment and able to work independently.

Working Hours (2 Shifts)

. Morning Shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm

. Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

(Shift rotation or fixed shift, depending on availability)

Key Responsibilities

. Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages

. Prepare toast, simple breakfast items and light food

. Operate coffee machines and basic kitchen equipment

. Take orders, handle cashier duties and payment

. Maintain cleanliness of stall, equipment and work area

. Follow food hygiene and safety standards

. Assist with opening and closing duties

. Basic stock checking and replenishment

. Provide friendly and efficient customer service

Experience & Requirements

. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a coffeeshop, caf, kopitiam or similar F&B setting

. Able to prepare traditional coffee/tea or basic espresso-based drinks

. Experience with toast preparation is an advantage

. Comfortable standing for long hours and working in a fast-paced environment

. Able to work independently with minimal supervision

. Responsible, punctual and hardworking

. Basic communication skills (English / Mandarin / simple dialects preferred)

. Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (or willing to obtain)
