Job Summary
You will consult with clients to understand their hairstyle preferences and deliver cutting, trimming, styling, and hair treatment services while maintaining hygiene standards and supervising trainees.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and consult to identify their desired hairstyles
- Cut and trim hair precisely according to client instructions
- Style hair using chemical treatments and styling tools to achieve client preferences
- Shave, trim, and shape clients beards and mustaches with accuracy
- Wash and condition clients hair to prepare for styling or treatments
- Apply hair treatments and coloring to meet client requests
- Clean and sanitize combs, scissors, razors, and other tools after each use to maintain hygiene
- Supervise apprentices and trainees to ensure quality and safety standards
- Provide face, scalp, and neck massages to enhance client experience
- Suggest suitable hairstyles based on client consultation and current trends
Required competencies and certifications
- Knowledge of current hairstyles and trends to provide informed styling advice
- Ability to follow instructions accurately for safe and effective service delivery
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods during work
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly with clients and team members
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
