Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing information technology (IT) Application Technology projects and related vendor and stakeholder management.
- Work with other teams to accomplish project goals and assure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in line with agreed project scope.
- Responsible for project planning and execution, including managing scope arising from new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, and assessing implications for project time, cost, quality, and risk.
The role duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Project Management
- Develop timelines and deliverables for project implementation.
- Manage projects to deliver agreed outcomes that realize benefits within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality.
- Monitor and report to the Lead, IT Management, Project Steering Committee (PSC), and Project Working Committees (PWC) on the status of financials, risks, issues, and progress toward milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to agreed project, program methodologies, enterprise methodologies, and processes.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Supervise day-to-day contributions to projects.
- Initiate and review the Test Strategy with relevant teams.
- Track test execution, defects, and resolutions.
- Ensure regulatory and legal compliance of all project work.
Procurement, Quotation, Invoicing, and Contract Management
- Work with the bank's procurement process team in raising work orders / Statements of Work (SOW), contract management, and managing invoicing and payment processing.
Estimation and Cost Management
- Work with solution teams, interfacing application teams, infrastructure management teams, project teams, and vendors to manage cost variance and project duration.
- Manage and report project delivery against agreed costs, forecast and manage cost impacts arising from scope changes, and perform ongoing cost monitoring.
Risk and Issue Management
- Direct the identification, monitoring, reporting, and escalation of risks and issues, including influencing ITD Management, PWC, PSC, business owners, and stakeholders to achieve resolution.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage, inform, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders, including customers business units responsible for technology and business services.
