This position is within the Account Management team under the COO domain, supporting the Front Office (e.g., Relationship Managers) in onboarding clients, opening accounts, and managing the client lifecycle (including account reviews and closures). The role is critical for ensuring compliance with KYC/AML regulations, maintaining high process efficiency, and ensuring data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Opening & Review:
- Ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations and internal policies.
- Review and verify KYC documentation in collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs).
- Conduct due diligence and information validation.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding/review process, engaging with Compliance and Client Management as needed.
- Prepare KYC screening lists and assist in completing client acceptance forms and profiling.
- Promptly escalate any red flags or issues.
2. Change Management & Process Improvement:
- Generate management reports to support reviews and control enhancement.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Communicate process changes to RMs as needed.
3. Controls & Compliance:
- Enforce internal control procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Report incidents and maintain control standards.
Qualifications:
- University degree with 45 years of relevant experience in banking/finance, especially in KYC/AML, risk, or controls in Private Banking.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to client onboarding.
- AML certifications such as CAMS or International Association Diploma in AML are advantageous.
