Role: Dance Coach
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Dance Coach to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in ballet pedagogy, competition coaching, and professional stage experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must Hold an Royal Academy Of Dance - RAD CBTS (Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies) or RAD PDTD (Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma) teacher certification.
- Minimum 5 years of professional ballet company experience as a dancer (en pointe).
- Minimum 5 years of experience coaching students for competitions (e.g., YGP, AGP, IBGP, IAF, GTB, etc.) including minimum 3 years of experience in coaching students based in Singapore for Singaporean competitions.
- In addtion to English, must be able to conduct classes in either Mandarin or Japanese, in line with our student demographic.
- Female candidates should be able to teach and demonstrate pointe work classes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver ballet classes across various levels.
- Coach and mentor students for competitions and stage performances.
- Ensure correct technique, artistry, and safe practices are maintained in all training.
- Work collaboratively with the faculty to uphold the academy's high standards of education.
