We are seeking a motivated Baker (Chef de Partie) to support our central kitchen team, located at Tampines. This role involves assisting with the preparation, baking, and finishing of breads, laminated pastries, and other bakery products while developing professional baking techniques. Candidates must have hands-on experience or training in dough lamination, including croissants and French-style pastries.
Assist in preparing and baking a variety of bakery items, including laminated dough products such as croissants, danishes, and other French pastries.
Perform dough lamination processes (rolling, folding, butter block preparation, and sheeting) with accuracy and consistency.
Measure, mix, and handle ingredients under supervision.
Operate and clean baking equipment safely.
Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards.
Support senior bakers and follow daily production schedules.
Basic experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or formal culinary training preferred (fresh graduates welcome).
Practical knowledge of dough lamination techniques for croissants and French pastries is required.
Understanding of butter handling, dough temperature control, and proofing for laminated products.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Flexible with early morning or weekend shifts.
Passion for baking and strong attention to detail.
