Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform diverse production tasks, including assembly, processing, and packaging of electrical appliance products according to daily production schedules.
- Follow Work Instructions (WI) strictly and operate production tools and equipment proficiently.
- Maintain a high level of adaptability be ready to rotate workstations or assist in different departments as assigned by the supervisor to ensure workflow continuity.
- Adhere strictly to the approved first article sample validated by the Quality Inspector throughout the production process.
- Perform self-inspection on your own output and check the quality of incoming parts from the previous operation before processing.
- Handle all products with care to prevent stains, scratches, or dents. Immediately report abnormalities and rework defective products promptly to ensure no defects enter the finished goods area.
- Use packaging materials and consumables reasonably to prevent waste, save energy, and assist in controlling production costs.
- Keep all packaging materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products neatly organized according to the required layout.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment, tools, and materials in the work area at all times.
- Check, maintain, and take care of production tools and machines daily protect company property from intentional damage or misuse.
- Actively participate in training sessions and proactively provide suggestions to improve efficiency or quality.
- Comply with all supervisor's directions and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Perform any other duties or general support tasks assigned from time to time to meet company objectives.
Job Requirements
- #Demonstrates carefulness, responsibility, and discipline, with the ability to adhere to safety and production protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions from management and capable of performing repetitive tasks consistently over extended periods.
- Able to understand and follow packaging quality requirements as explained by the Quality Inspector and Team Leader prior to commencing work
- Meet physical requirements which are essential to perform the duties of the role, including the ability to distinguish colours where necessary.
- Previous experience in packaging is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) to liaise with Chinese-speaking supervisors, and to read and understand machine operations manuals and work instructions provided in Chinese.
