Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes while ensuring high performance, reliability, and test coverage. The role involves working closely with data and engineering teams to automate deployments, monitoring, and optimize data storage and database performance. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET Core, Python, and MSSQL/Oracle, with solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and database performance tuning, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes and ensuring maintainability through unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate with data teams to understand requirements and automate deployment and monitoring.
• Optimize data storage and troubleshoot issues to enhance performance.

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 yearsof experience in software development usingC# and .NET Core.
• Strong proficiency inPythonfor scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge inMSSQL and Oracle databases, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns,RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in version control tools(e.g.,Git) andCI/CDpipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Good team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
