about the job

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of critical backend services. You will work within an agile environment to build secure and reliable systems, ensuring that our technical infrastructure aligns perfectly with functional business requirements.

• Service Development: Design and develop backend services using Python and/or Java, with the flexibility to work on frontend components in React as needed.

• API Architecture: Implement robust RESTful APIs and complex backend logic based on detailed functional and technical specifications.

• Database Optimization: Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers to ensure high performance and data integrity.

• System Integration: Seamlessly integrate backend services with frontend applications and various external third-party systems.

• Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct rigorous unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability.

• Collaborative Governance: Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all backend components.

• Project Support: Actively support SIT and UAT activities, including defect analysis, resolution, and providing post-go-live stabilization support.

skills and experience required

• Technical Mastery: Strong hands-on experience in backend development using Python and/or Java.

• Frontend Exposure: Basic experience or familiarity with React is considered a plus (optional).

• API Expertise: Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and manage complex backend business logic.

• Database Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with database systems and integrating services within a larger ecosystem.

• Testing & Quality: Experience in performing unit and integration testing to meet performance and security standards.

• Lifecycle Support: Ability to assist in deployment and provide technical support through SIT, UAT, and production phases.

• Communication: Strong communication skills to participate in technical discussions and translate requirements into clean code.
