A backend developer is sought to support and enhance a trading platform within a global financial technology team. Based in Singapore, the role involves maintaining backend frameworks, designing scalable solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders in an agile environment.
Key responsibilities include ensuring system performance, compliance, and supporting containerized deployments using Kubernetes. Strong experience in C# or Java is essential. Familiarity with frontend technologies like JavaScript and React is a plus.

Backend Development

- Support containerization of applications using modern infrastructure tools.
System Integration & Code Quality
- Integrate financial systems and third-party services to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Maintain high coding standards through clean, efficient code, regular reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve technical issues across environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Frontend Collaboration (Optional)
- Contribute to building responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript when needed.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in backend development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C# and/or Java.
- Solid understanding of reactive programming concepts and frameworks.
- Proficient in MongoDB and MS SQL.
- Familiar with messaging and API technologies such as RabbitMQ, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Committed to writing high-quality, maintainable code and participating in code reviews.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Comfortable working in agile environments.
- Open to working in a globally distributed team.
