Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer to join our technology team in Singapore. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases to ensure the smooth functioning and scalability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement new features and enhancements
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing systems
- Implement and maintain data storage solutions, including relational and non-relational databases
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software development lifecycle processes
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for system architecture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 25 years of experience in back-end development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#
- Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Familiarity with Singapore and SEA tech ecosystem is preferred
