About the Role
We're hiring Backend Developers to build, optimize, and maintain scalable backend services for our core products. You'll work closely with the product, front-end, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems. This role is open from Junior to Senior levels, with scope adjusted based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for core product features.
- Optimize backend logic, database queries, and service integrations to support high concurrency, low latency, and high availability.
- Participate in backend technical design, implementation, and testing to ensure production-ready delivery.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely fixes for production incidents.
- Write and maintain clear technical documentation to support system maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously improve backend engineering practices, tools, and system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 35 years of hands-on experience in backend development, with solid exposure to building production-grade services.
Required Skills
- Practical experience with .NET Core and C# in real-world backend applications.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP fundamentals, and basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for backend integration.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and exposure to NoSQL solutions.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and thread-safe backend code, with experience in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of backend system design concepts, including service communication, data consistency, and scalability considerations.
- Ability to communicate clearly within the engineering team and work closely with product, front-end and DevOps teams to deliver backend features effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts, microservices architecture, or distributed system patterns is a plus.
- This role is open to Junior to Senior Backend Developers. Responsibilities and technical scope will be adjusted based on experience and demonstrated capability.
