BA/PM, AML (Banking, 6-month renewable contract)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) to support AML initiatives within the bank, with a strong focus on KYC, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance. This role will bridge business, compliance, and technology teams, driving both requirements analysis and end-to-end project delivery for AML systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of AML projects, covering KYC, transaction monitoring, and compliance-related initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders across compliance, operations, and technology to gather and document requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories)
• Perform process mapping (as-is/to-be) and identify opportunities for workflow optimization and automation
• Ensure all solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements and AML policies
• Drive UAT, defect management, and implementation support
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
• Support implementation or enhancement of AML systems (e.g. transaction monitoring, screening tools)
• Maintain proper documentation and governance standards throughout the project lifecycle

Key Requirements:

• 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager within banking or financial services
• Strong domain knowledge in AML, KYC, CDD, and transaction monitoring
• Proven experience delivering AML-related projects or system implementations
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and UAT
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Experience with AML platforms such as NetReveal / Detica is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with workflow tools, BPM, or process automation is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
