Business Analyst – Data & Analytics (6–12 Month Renewable Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities with a strong focus on data and analytics initiatives within the organization
• Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory needs
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with senior stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and data-driven solutions
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, data mappings, and analytical requirements for technical teams
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and technology teams during analysis, design, and testing phases
• Support data validation, UAT, and ensure accuracy and integrity of delivered data solutions
• Provide regular updates to leadership and proactively manage stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure smooth delivery, timelines, and risk mitigation when required

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to Data & Analytics projects (data platforms, reporting, or data transformation initiatives)
• Proven track record delivering large-scale programs in established financial institutions
• Solid understanding of data concepts such as data lineage, data mapping, data quality, and data governance
• Experience working in AML / KYC / Compliance domains, with exposure to data-driven risk or fraud analytics initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders independently
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and exposure to solutions such as Tookitaki and/or Quantexa is highly advantageous
• Prior technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams is a plus
