Implementing cloud solutions on Azure platform

Responsibilities

. Involved in designs, builds, and maintains data solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring data pipelines are efficient, secure, and reliable.

. Responsible for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analysis, collaborating with other teams to meet business needs.

. Implement data warehousing solutions for analytical workloads.

. Design and implement data models for analytical workloads.

. Data Pipelines: Construct and manage data pipelines to transfer data to Azure data stores and process it efficiently.

Skills/Requirement

. Strong experience in Data Engineering

. Strong hands-on implementation experience in Azure and Snowflake

. Experience with designing and building solutions, Architecture, design aspects, performance tuning, time travel, warehouse concepts - scaling, clustering, micro-partitioning.

. Experience with SnowSQL, Snowpipe.

. Experience with Snowflake performance optimization techniques

. Hands-on experience with writing Complex queries using SQL - Joins, Self Joins, Views, Materialized Views, Cursor also Recursive, use of GROUP BY, PARTITION BY functions / SQL Performance tuning

. Hands-on experience with ETL and Dimensional Data Modelling.
