Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves defining data architecture strategies, ensuring cloud governance, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end data architecture using Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Databricks, and related services.
- Define data modeling standards and implement optimized storage and ETL solutions.
- Develop strategies for data integration, migration, and transformation using Azure Data Factory.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into architectural solutions.
- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of data solutions.
- Stay updated on Azure advancements and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in data architecture and solution design on Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services: Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Cosmos DB.
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark for data engineering tasks.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with Power BI, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving cloud environments.
