We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain on-premises Azure Stack Hub, enterprise monitoring tools, and supporting infrastructure. The role involves system administration, patch management, and ensuring high availability and performance across hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Azure Stack Hub (on-premises) infrastructure
- Perform patching and updates for Azure Stack Hub and Dell EMC systems
- Manage and support Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments
- Administer and optimize Splunk and AI-enabled Splunk platforms for monitoring, analytics, and alerting
- Configure and maintain Active Directory (AD) services (users, groups, GPOs, authentication)
- Administer SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) for infrastructure monitoring
- Manage SolarWinds for network and system monitoring
- Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, patching and performance tuning
- Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes are in place and tested
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
- Work with vendors (Microsoft, Dell EMC, Splunk) for issue resolution and support
- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Stack Hub administration and patching
- Experience in Dell EMC infrastructure patching and lifecycle management
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V administration and patching.
- Proven experience with Splunk (including AI/ML capabilities)
- Good understanding of Active Directory administration
- Experience with SCOM and SolarWinds monitoring tools
- Knowledge of Windows server & RHEL environments and enterprise infrastructure
- Experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Windows Server, RHEL or related)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) for automation
- Exposure to ITIL processes and incident/problem management
