Role Title: Functional Cloud FinOps Specialist - Azure
Experience: 4+ years
Location: Singapore
Contract Duration: 12 months & extendable (Extension is subject to project requirements.)
Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO) role.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Functional Cloud FinOps Lead to establish and drive our Azure Financial Governance and Cost Optimization practice in Singapore!
We are looking for candidates with a strong Functional / IT Financial Management / Cloud Governance background who understand technology spend, commercial models, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- FinOps Governance & Cost Allocation: Define Azure FinOps frameworks, cost allocation policies, tagging standards, and showback/chargeback models across business units.
- Cost Optimization & Business Value: Utilize Microsoft Cost Management & Azure Advisor to identify savings opportunities, leveraging Savings Plans, Reserved Instances (RIs), and Azure Hybrid Benefit.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead monthly variance analysis (Budget vs. Actuals), consumption forecasting, and financial modeling for cloud migrations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the bridge between Cloud Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Business owners to drive cost accountability.
What We Are Looking For
- Functional / Business Experience: 5+ years in IT Financial Management, IT Governance, Cloud Business Analysis, or Tech FP&A.
- Azure FinOps Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cost Management, Azure billing structures, and cost optimization mechanisms.
- Financial & Data Skills: Advanced Excel / Financial Modeling capabilities to analyze large cloud billing datasets.
