Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

You are a hands-on builder and mover for Azure. Your main job is to take an architect's blueprint, write the code (Terraform) to build the Azure environment, move physical/on-premise servers into Azure, and make sure everything runs smoothly afterward.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy Azure networking, VMs, storage, and security using Terraform and scripts
• Move company applications and data from local servers into Azure during planned migration waves
• Write code to handle repetitive deployment and maintenance tasks so things run faster and with fewer errors
• Keep the cloud secure, monitor performance, apply patches, and troubleshoot issues when things break
• Partner with architects, security teams, and app developers to plan and execute projects

About you

• 4–8 years in IT or cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on skills in Azure (AZ-104 level), Terraform, and scripting (PowerShell/Azure CLI)
• Solid grasp of networking, VMs, security (Entra ID/RBAC), and migration steps
• AZ-104 certification or Terraform certifications (plus points)
