Azure Cloud Engineer -GCC Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, security)

• Support cloud migration from on-premises to Azure (lift-and-shift and modernization)

• Implement solutions in Azure GCC / Government cloud environments

• Configure and maintain Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute)

• Manage messaging and integration services (Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent)

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform / ARM / Bicep / PowerShell / scripting

• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize workloads

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards

• Work closely with architects and project teams for successful delivery

Requirements

Must Have

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 5 + years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

• Experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security

• Experience in cloud migration projects

• Experience with messaging or middleware platforms

• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, etc.)

• Good troubleshooting and operational support skills

Good to Have

• Experience working in Government / regulated / GCC environments

• Azure certifications (AZ-104 / AZ-305 or similar)

• Kubernetes (AKS), Docker containers

• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana)

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

• Good problem-solving mindset

• Stakeholder coordination experience
