AWS Vulnerability Management Engineer
As an AWS Vulnerability Management Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in strengthening our security posture by conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security best practices, and ensuring timely remediation of potential risks.
Be Part of Our Success
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability tests across AWS services to detect threats and weaknesses.
- Implement AWS security best practices, including proper configuration of security groups, IAM policies, monitoring tools, and Vulnerability Management Systems (e.g., Tenable).
- Develop and maintain automated scripts for vulnerability scanning, analysis, and reporting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address and remediate vulnerabilities efficiently.
- Stay updated on emerging security trends, threat landscapes, tools, and AWS features.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for compliance, audits, and management review.
Qualities We Value
- Proven experience in cloud security with strong focus on AWS environments.
- Solid understanding of security principles, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
- Hands-on familiarity with Tenable and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail.
- AWS or RHEL certifications will be an advantage.
