Contribute to the design, implementation and operation of backend services running on AWS.
You'll architect secure, scalable APIs and event-driven workloads on platforms such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, SQS / SNS / EventBridge, ensuring reliability, performance and compliance.
This role requires deep hands-on Node.JS development experience, and strong understanding of secure, compliant delivery on AWS.
Uphold coding standards and best practices.
Job Responsibilities: Deliver features end-to-end, build APIs, Lambda functions, and backend services from user stories and technical designs.
Review requirements and user stories for technical feasibility, scope and risk. Propose pragmatic alternatives when needed.
Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement resilient fixes with tests.
Quality first, write clean and testable code add unit/integration tests, ensure accessibility (WCAG), performance and security best practices.
Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and improve the component library.
Partner with BA, refine acceptance criteria, clarify edge cases and ensure business value is met.
Agile way of working, contribute to backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives provide accurate estimates.
Collaborate on CI/CD, Feature flags, and observability for safe frequent release.
