AWS Network Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer to join our Digital Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust network infrastructure both within AWS and across hybrid environments. You'll ensure reliable connectivity, secure network operations, and efficient cloud networking practices to support missioncritical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and monitor AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, and peering to ensure secure and scalable cloud network architecture.

• Maintain and operate Palo Alto firewalls and related security infrastructure (e.g., GlobalProtect VPN) to protect network perimeters and enforce secure access controls.

• Respond to networking incidents and service requests in alignment with ITIL or related operational standards.

• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot network issues and implement improvements.

• Support hybrid cloud connectivity and integration across AWS and onpremise systems.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Handson experience with AWS networking services and cloud infrastructure design.

• Strong understanding of firewall management (especially Palo Alto), VPNs, and secure network architecture.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.

• Familiarity with networking protocols, routing, security groups, and AWS best practices.
