AWS Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network security, firewall technologies, and cloud networking, with experience supporting enterprise and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and maintain enterprise and cloud-based network infrastructure.

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, particularly Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls.

• Support secure network connectivity across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.

• Ensure network designs comply with security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security incidents perform root cause analysis and remediation.

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure end-to-end network reliability.

• Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, VPNs, network security).

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.

• Experience working in regulated or high-security environments.

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• AWS Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional

• Palo Alto Networks Certification:

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Next-Generation Firewall Engineer

• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.
