AWS Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS networking infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and NACLs.
• Configure and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
• Deploy and support load balancers (ALB/NLB/CLB) and CloudFront for optimized traffic distribution.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies using AWS Security Groups, NACLs, and firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and third-party tools.
• Support disaster recovery and high availability configurations.
• Provide network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Document designs, standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-10 years of hands-on experience with AWS networking services.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
• Experience with cloud firewalls / security appliances (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Fortinet).
• Familiar with hybrid cloud architectures (on-prem AWS).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Advanced Networking Specialty) preferred.
• Good troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
