About the Role
We're looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive automation, scalability, and security across our infrastructure. You will work closely with developers and operations teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized systems, and DevOps strategies that enable efficient, high-performing software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams in a DevOps environment to enable CI/CD and continuous testing.
- Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability cloud systems and containerized environments (e.g. Red Hat OpenShift, Docker).
- Automate deployment, configuration, and security hardening using Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred).
- Develop scripts and tools for system monitoring, health checks, and backups.
- Manage load balancing, network routing, and system performance optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automate security controls across environments.
- Work with MLOps tools (e.g., H2O) to support machine learning system automation.
About You
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Communications Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or server infrastructure setup.
- Proficiency in AWS, OpenStack, and software-defined infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience configuring Red Hat SSO, load balancing (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS), and Linux systems.
- Familiar with IT security standards (e.g., CIS) and DevSecOps practices.
- Working knowledge of Java or Python for automation scripting.
- Experience in Agile environments, collaborating closely with development teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
