AWS Cloud Engineer(API development)

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful and event-driven APIs using AWS services (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB).
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and product managers.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud and API-related issues.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).
Proven experience in designing and developing APIs on AWS.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps principles.
Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in Python or similar languages for API development.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch).
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Devops) are a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
Exposure to data platforms and AI/ML workloads on AWS.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
